Members, guests and children are expected to dress in a manner appropriate, and in good taste, for a premier, private country club. Golf and tennis attire, as sold in our pro shop, is acceptable with the exception of cotton tee shirts, cotton sweatshirts and cotton sweatpants. For sports attire that violates the club dress code, appropriate outerwear is required as a cover up.
UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE
1) Men: Collarless cotton t-shirts, collarless cotton sweatshirts, sleeveless shirts and men’s tank tops.
2) Cotton sweatpants are not allowed on adults
3) No hats allowed for gentlemen; please use the hat rack by the entrance
4) Any clothing, that is ripped, frayed or obviously dirty
5) Work-out or swim attire
6) Excessively large or inappropriate logos on clothing
7) Excessively short shorts or miniskirts (with the exception of appropriate tennis skirts). Our standard is set by the typical length of golf shorts
CHILDREN
Children under 12 are permitted to wear appropriate cotton t-shirts, cotton sweatshirts and cotton sweatpants, as long as they do not display excessively large or inappropriate logos.
ENFORCEMENT
Management will be enforcing any violation of these rules immediately. Members are required to inform their guests of the rules. Any issues with other members should be dealt with through management and not on a direct basis.
* From time to time the dress code will be amended for particular club events and a temporary dress code will be enforced for those specific events.
